How do I delete old emails in Outlook?

Where do deleted Outlook emails go?
Deleted emails move to the Deleted Items folder first — nothing is permanently removed right away, so you can move messages back if you change your mind. To reclaim the storage immediately, empty the Deleted Items folder after deleting.
